Audrey Cortes
Audrey is an Executive Associate, Forced Labor & Human Trafficking at Humanity United and supports the Managing Directors of Investments and Forced Labor & Human Trafficking.
Prior to joining HU, Audrey served as Deputy Communications Director in the United States House of Representatives where she also worked as a policy adviser on issues such as human trafficking, women’s health, and veterans’ care. In the past, Audrey worked for elected officials and public figures like Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf; philanthropist and environmentalist, Tom Steyer; and retired United States Senator Barbara Boxer. Likewise, she has also worked as a freelance local reporter and political campaigns strategist.
Audrey received a bachelor of arts degree in politics and journalism from the University of San Francisco where she is an active Member of the USF Alumni Board of Directors.
