Angela Kan

Director, Grants Management

Angela joined Humanity United in 2016. As Director, Grants Management, she provides grantmaking operations, systems, and grant-related analytical support.

Prior to joining HU, Angela worked for the David and Lucile Packard Foundation’s Reproductive Health Program, providing programmatic, grants management, and systems support to teams in California and overseas. Prior to working in philanthropy, Angela was a researcher at See Change Evaluation, where she provided a diverse array of nonprofits and foundations with mixed-method and story-based approaches to evaluation. Before relocating from Australia to the United States in 2010, Angela provided monitoring and evaluation support to gender and health programs in South Africa and India.

Angela holds a master’s of public administration from the University of San Francisco, and a bachelor’s degree in public health from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
