Raé is the Manager of People at Humanity United. In this role, she manages projects and processes including HR policy development and administration, leaves of absence, professional development, ADA support, equity-embedded practices, knowledge management, and internal communications.
Prior to joining HU, Raé was the Senior Manager of People and Culture for a nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness in San Francisco. In her previous role, she was the Manager of Operations, People, and Culture for SMART, an organization committed to building educational equity by helping students overcome systemic barriers. Additionally, she provided contract work as a racial literacy trainer, teaching skills to navigate uncomfortable conversations around differences, discrimination, and racially stressful encounters in the workplace.
Raé holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College and a master’s degree in counseling and mental health services from the University of Pennsylvania.
