Rachel joined Humanity United in May 2023 as Executive Associate, Operations, supporting the Managing Director of Operations.
Prior to joining HU, Rachel worked as an Analyst in the Office of the Executive Vice President at the Obama Foundation, supporting the Executive Vice President of the Obama Presidential Center, Strategy, and Product & Tech. In this role, she was the sole manager of the EVP’s calendar and was responsible for tracking various projects in the EVP’s portfolio, as well as serving as the connective tissue between the various teams that the EVP oversaw. Prior to working at the Obama Foundation, she served as Office Manager and Assistant to the Associate Dean at Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Eligibility Coordinator at Christopher House, a Chicago based early childhood education center for low-income children and their families.
Rachel received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Women’s and Gender Studies from DePaul University and her Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
