As Senior Director, People, Naomi leads all aspects of Humanity United’s People function to build a workplace experience that fosters an inclusive and belonging-focused culture. In partnership with staff and leaders across HU, she leads our people strategy, initiatives and programs to help enable HU to deliver on our strategy, vision, mission, values.
Naomi is an HR and talent development professional with experience in a variety of generalist and specialist roles. She has worked in large and small organizations across banking, scientific services, retail, non-profits and government. Previously, she led talent development programs for the global senior executive talent pool at National Australia Bank Group, one of Australia’s four major banks. In this role she managed experiential learning programs to build capacity for systems thinking, managing ambiguity, and making change in complex adaptive systems.
Naomi is passionate about the impact that HR can bring to an organization by having “the right people, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time.” The most meaningful moments of her career have involved helping others grow and develop in their careers and seeing the organizational impact of their growth.
Naomi has a master’s degree in applied commerce and a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Melbourne.
