Ben joined Humanity United in May 2023 as Senior Accountant. In this role, he oversees the day-to-day accounting operations and manages the general ledger activity, month-end close, and oversees the accounts payable function.
Prior to joining HU, Ben was the Senior Accountant at the American Board of Pediatrics, a non-profit organization where he played an integral role supporting the Controller with the day-to-day accounting function as well as month-end and year-end close processes, the annual audit and tax return preparation, and financial statement preparation and review.
Before his time at the ABP, Ben spent several years working at both Epilog Laser, a private manufacturing company headquartered in Golden, Colorado as well as Circle K Stores corporate.
Ben received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Mount Olive. In his spare time, Ben tries to keep up with his two young boys and is also an avid runner and cyclist.
