As Public Engagement Associate for Humanity United, Annie provides support across the portfolio to the International Journalism & Media, Policy & Government Relations, and Strategic Communications teams.
Previously, Annie served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mongolia where she was a community development and secondary education English teacher, focused on community-defined projects and capacity building. She has also provided grant writing, digital content, and social media support to multiple DC-based nonprofits. Annie interned with Humanity United’s Peacebuilding team in 2021, supporting the implementation of the Reimagine Peacebuilding project.
Annie holds a master’s in international development from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s in writing, rhetoric, and technical communication with a minor in humanitarian affairs from James Madison University where she graduated with honors.
