Humanity United Condemns Russian Military’s Invasion of Ukraine

Humanity United strongly condemns the Russian military’s invasion of Ukraine. Vladimir Putin’s violent attack on Ukraine’s sovereignty violates international law and threatens the decades-long multilateral order by which countries have agreed to abide. Unfortunately, this act of aggression has already resulted in casualties, which will likely increase in the coming days.

We call on governments around the world to unequivocally denounce the invasion of Ukraine and to take concrete measures to hold the Russian government accountable. While the global ramifications of this war are still unfolding, as an institution committed to building peace, we stand in solidarity with those around the world seeking to end conflict and prevent unnecessary loss of life. We echo the voices of our partners calling for an urgent increase in humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and in support of local peacebuilders in the region.
