HU Welcomes Kehinde Togun as Senior Director, Policy & Government Relations

We are excited to welcome Kehinde Togun as the newest member of the Humanity United team.

Kehinde joined HU this month as Senior Director, Policy & Government Relations. In this role, he will be responsible for leading HU’s efforts to engage with key governmental and advocacy stakeholders, as well as pursuing legal and policy change through Humanity United Action, a nonpartisan, non-profit 501(c)(4) organization.

Kehinde comes to HU from The Arkin Group where he led efforts to help U.S. corporations make more informed investment decisions overseas. He previously led teams and projects at PartnersGlobal, an HU partner and grantee, as well as the National Democratic Institute. Kehinde also advised the State Department and USAID on President Obama’s Security Governance Initiative, and he worked closely with civil society leaders and policy experts to implement the Open Government Partnership in Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

Kehinde recently authored articles for Just Security and Foreign Policy. The New America Foundation and the Diversity in National Security Network named Kehinde one of 20 next generation Black American national security and foreign policy leaders in 2020.
