Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability, the Manager will balance strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail and effective logistical execution.

The Manager, PB will be responsible for bridging programmatic implementation with operations, including managing contracts, planning convenings, and coordinating partner travel. Collaborating with the PB team’s Senior Portfolio Director, Senior Managers, and the Associate Manager, the Manager will assist in maintaining visibility across the grantmaking pipeline and help align partner support with team operations. This role will work with team members on a small set of grants to help ensure accuracy and quality in HU’s grants management system.

The Manager will implement a set of team-wide initiatives, such as assisting in the management of a partner emergency fund and exploring opportunities to host grantee convenings. They will also be responsible for building out the Peacebuilding team’s convening practices and policies, and for the planning and implementation of convenings.

The successful candidate will understand intentional convening, logistical planning, and meeting design as powerful tools to further new forms of collective action, deeper relationships, and meaningful participation. The ideal candidate will have a background in peacebuilding and conflict transformation work, and bring an understanding of how programs and operations can work together seamlessly to serve the organization’s mission.
