Deadra Henderson brings over two decades of experience in operations, finance, and talent management to her role as Senior Finance Operations Analyst at Humanity United. Before joining HU, she spent more than 23 years at McKinsey & Company, where she served as Global Diversity & Inclusion Operations Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and key strategic initiatives. Prior to that, she was Manager of Professional Development & Operations at the McKinsey Global Institute, where she led people and finance processes, served on the unit’s governance committee, and spearheaded efforts to strengthen culture and employee experience. Earlier in her career, Deadra worked in the education finance sector, with roles in marketing and administration. She holds B.A. in Business Administration and an M.S. in Human Resource Management from the University of Southern California.
A proud California native, Deadra is based in the San Francisco East Bay Area. Outside of work, she is deeply engaged in community service—volunteering at her church and serving as Program Director for the Contra Costa County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, an organization dedicated to youth leadership development. She also enjoys scrapbooking and is a home organization enthusiast.
