Humanity United is pleased to support Public Radio International’s unique storytelling project “Walls We Don’t See,” a multi-platform series telling the stories of migrants and would-be migrants to the United States.
For people seeking entry to the U.S., the journey often requires choices and risks few would like to make. Even after arrival, many migrants are vulnerable to exploitation and face ongoing challenges in their new lives.
“Walls We Don’t See” illustrates the complex laws, rules, and costs that already act as a barrier to would-be migrants and the difficulties that remain after they arrive—and for those they left behind. The series is available on PRI’s website and is accompanied by broadcasts of PRI’s The World. To learn more about HU’s strategic media portfolio click here.
