HU’s CEO Joins Global Centre For Responsibility to Protect Advisory Board

The Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect was established in 2008 to promote the 2005 UN World Summit agreement on our collective “Responsibility to Protect” populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and crimes against humanity.

Randy Newcomb, HU’s President & CEO, joined the Global Centre’s advisory board earlier this month.

“We must work collectively and proactively to materialize the critical notion of Responsibility to Protect,” said Randy Newcomb. “I am grateful for the opportunity to engage on this issue with the Global Centre and look forward to catalyzing action together”.

The Global Centre has established itself as the leading authority on the Responsibility to Protect and has led efforts to broaden and deepen global support for the norm.
