Susan McCue

Susan McCue is President of Message Global, a strategic advocacy firm she founded in 2008 for social action campaigns and political advocacy. She was Chief of Staff to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid from 1998 to 2007, where she built and managed his leadership, policy, and political operations. Following the historic 2006 congressional victories, Susan became the founding President & CEO of ONE, a high-energy grassroots advocacy campaign to reduce extreme global poverty.
Susan was nominated by President Obama, and confirmed by the U.S. Senate, to serve on the Board of Directors of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, an independent U.S. foreign aid agency that is helping lead the fight against global poverty. She is currently a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a former member of the Broadcasting Board of Governors.

A New Jersey native, Susan is a graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., with degrees in economics and journalism.
